Observable is the future of visualization. It revolves around JavaScript for wrangling data and drawing charts so you can use popular visualization JS libraries like D3 and Vega, but their own Plot library is a powerful and easy-to-use toolset for most day-to-day viz needs. It uses the notebook paradigm—which is great for anyone familiar with Jupyter, Colab—allowing Markdown documentation and Javascript to live together; great for sharing, collaboration, and iteration.
